POEMS- STRENGTH FOR DAILY LIVING

1. Strength Through Christ’s Presence

The road is long today.
The work is waiting.
Jesus is here.

I do not see Him.
I do not hear His voice.
Still, He is here.

The day begins with needs.
The heart begins with questions.
Jesus remains.

He walks before me.
He stands beside me.
He stays behind me.

My fears are real.
His presence is more real.
His word settles my heart.

Nothing surprises Him.
Nothing escapes Him.
Nothing weakens Him.

Lord Jesus,
keep me near You.
That is enough.

2. Strength Through Waiting on the Lord

I want answers now.
I want movement now.
God often says wait.

Waiting feels empty.
Yet heaven is working.
Christ is not idle.

The seed grows unseen.
The roots go deeper.
The Lord prepares.

I learn patience.
I learn trust.
I learn surrender.

The flesh resists waiting.
Faith embraces it.
Jesus teaches it.

The delay is not neglect.
The silence is not absence.
The waiting has purpose.

Lord Jesus,
teach me to rest
until Your time comes.

3. Strength Through God’s Word

The world speaks loudly.
The Bible speaks quietly.
Truth remains.

A single promise
has carried saints
through dark valleys.

God has spoken.
His voice is written.
His truth stands.

The Word corrects me.
The Word comforts me.
The Word leads me.

When my thoughts wander,
Scripture brings me home.
Christ meets me there.

The Bible is not dead.
The Spirit breathes through it.
The soul awakens.

Lord Jesus,
feed me from Your Word.
Make me strong in truth.

4. Strength Through God’s Grace

I bring weakness.
God brings grace.
The exchange is mercy.

I fail often.
His grace remains.
His love remains.

The cross settled
what my efforts
could never settle.

God does not love me
because I am strong.
He strengthens me because He loves me.

My weakness
is not the end.
It is the beginning.

The Lord is enough.
His grace is enough.
His Son is enough.

Lord Jesus,
when I am weak,
be my strength again.

5. Strength Through Prayer

Prayer is not escape.
Prayer is meeting God.
Prayer is coming home.

I enter burdened.
I leave steadied.
Nothing outside changed.

Yet everything inside
has begun to change.
God has spoken peace.

The throne is open.
The invitation stands.
Come boldly.

The Father listens.
The Son intercedes.
The Spirit helps.

The heart grows strong
where it learns
to kneel.

Lord Jesus,
draw me often
to the place of prayer.

6. Strength Through Joy in the Lord

Joy is not noise.
Joy is not excitement.
Joy is Jesus.

Storms may remain.
Tears may remain.
Christ remains.

The soul remembers
who God is.
Hope rises again.

Joy looks upward.
Fear looks downward.
Choose your direction.

The Lord is good.
The Lord is faithful.
The Lord is near.

His goodness
becomes strength
for weary hearts.

Lord Jesus,
restore the joy
of knowing You.

7. Strength Through God’s Peace

The world offers worry.
Jesus offers peace.
The difference is everything.

Peace does not remove trouble.
Peace steadies me in trouble.
Christ is my peace.

My mind races.
His promises anchor.
My heart settles.

The future belongs to God.
The present belongs to God.
I belong to God.

Anxious thoughts come.
They do not have to stay.
The Lord is greater.

His peace guards.
His peace protects.
His peace remains.

Lord Jesus,
teach my heart
to rest in You.

8. Strength Through the Holy Spirit

The Christian life
cannot be lived
by human strength.

God knew this.
God planned for this.
God sent His Spirit.

The Spirit teaches.
The Spirit convicts.
The Spirit empowers.

He points to Jesus.
He magnifies Jesus.
He forms Jesus in me.

His work is quiet.
His work is deep.
His work is lasting.

The flesh weakens.
The Spirit strengthens.
Christ is revealed.

Lord Jesus,
fill me afresh
through Your Spirit.

9. Strength Through God’s Faithfulness

Years have passed.
God has not changed.
Not once.

People disappoint.
Circumstances change.
God remains.

His promises stand.
His character stands.
His love stands.

Yesterday proves it.
Today confirms it.
Tomorrow will reveal it.

Every answered prayer.
Every unseen rescue.
Every act of mercy.

Faithfulness is His name.
Faithfulness is His nature.
Faithfulness is His way.

Lord Jesus,
help me remember
all You have done.

10. Strength Through Christ Himself

Strength is not found
in methods.
Strength is found in Christ.

He is enough
for every burden,
every season.

The soul searches.
The heart wanders.
Jesus satisfies.

His wisdom guides.
His power sustains.
His love secures.

Everything God gives
comes through His Son.
Everything.

The closer I walk with Him,
the stronger I become.
The secret is simple.

Lord Jesus,
be my life,
my strength, my joy.

11. Abiding in Christ

The branch does not struggle.
It simply remains.
Life flows from the vine.

I spend much energy
trying to be strong.
Jesus calls me near.

The secret is not effort.
The secret is union.
Christ in me.

The world says perform.
Jesus says abide.
The difference is grace.

Fruit grows quietly.
Roots grow deeply.
God is working.

The closer I stay,
the more I see
His life in mine.

Lord Jesus,
keep me near You.
Do not let me drift.

12. Standing on God’s Promises

The promise was spoken.
The years passed.
The promise remained.

God is not hurried.
God is not uncertain.
God is not weak.

The storm questions.
The promise answers.
Faith listens.

Many things change.
God’s Word does not.
His truth stands.

The soul grows strong
when it remembers
what God has said.

Every promise
finds its yes
in Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus,
teach me to trust
Your promises completely.

13. Resting in God’s Love

Before I sought Him,
He loved me.
Before I knew Him.

The cross settled forever
the question
of God’s love.

Nothing can separate.
Nothing can remove.
Nothing can destroy.

His love found me.
His love keeps me.
His love carries me.

The heart becomes strong
when it rests
in this truth.

I do not hold Him.
He holds me.
That changes everything.

Lord Jesus,
let me live today
in the security of Your love.

14. Living in Hope

The world sees endings.
Jesus sees beginnings.
Hope looks beyond.

A grave stood closed.
A stone was moved.
Hope walked out alive.

Tomorrow is unknown.
Christ is not.
That is enough.

Hope lifts weary eyes.
Hope steadies weak knees.
Hope keeps walking.

The darkest night
cannot stop
the coming dawn.

One day faith becomes sight.
One day sorrow ends.
One day Jesus appears.

Lord Jesus,
fill my heart
with living hope.

15. Worshiping the Lord

The soul shrinks
when it stares
at itself.

Worship turns the eyes
toward the throne
of God.

The problem remains.
Yet God is greater.
Perspective changes.

The heart bows.
The spirit rises.
Grace follows.

Worship is not escape.
Worship is truth.
God is worthy.

His greatness fills
the empty places
of the soul.

Lord Jesus,
teach me to worship
when life is hard.

16. Walking in Obedience

The next step matters.
Not tomorrow’s step.
Today’s.

God gives light
for the path ahead.
Not the whole journey.

Obedience often feels small.
Heaven sees differently.
God notices.

The Lord is pleased
when His children
simply trust Him.

One step follows another.
Faithfulness grows.
Character forms.

The strongest saints
learned to obey
one day at a time.

Lord Jesus,
make my heart willing
to follow You.

17. Growing Through Trials

Pain is a hard teacher.
Yet God often teaches
through pain.

The trial arrived.
The Lord arrived first.
Nothing surprises Him.

What feels like loss
may become
a deeper gain.

Faith is tested.
Faith grows.
Faith endures.

The furnace is hot.
The Savior is present.
The work continues.

Many treasures
are discovered only
in dark valleys.

Lord Jesus,
meet me there
when trials come.

18. Strength Through Fellowship

No one was meant
to walk this road
alone.

God gives His people.
God gives encouragement.
God gives help.

A kind word matters.
A faithful friend matters.
Prayer matters.

The church is imperfect.
Christ is not.
He works through His people.

Shared burdens
become lighter.
Shared faith grows stronger.

Together we look
toward Jesus.
Together we continue.

Lord Jesus,
make me an encourager
to others.

19. Serving Others

The world says take.
Jesus says give.
His way is better.

A towel in His hands
became a lesson
for every believer.

Love serves quietly.
Love notices needs.
Love acts.

The servant is not weak.
The servant is strong.
Christ was a servant.

Many seek importance.
Jesus sought obedience.
He chose humility.

In serving others,
I often discover
the heart of Christ.

Lord Jesus,
teach me to serve
as You served.

20. God Is Enough

The body grows older.
The heart grows tired.
God remains.

Dreams may fade.
Plans may change.
God remains.

People come and go.
Seasons come and go.
God remains.

The soul searches
for lasting strength.
It finds God.

He is not merely
the giver of strength.
He is strength.

When all else fails,
His presence stands.
His love stands.

Lord Jesus,
You are enough
for this day.

21. Fixing My Eyes on Jesus

There are many voices.
There are many distractions.
There is one Savior.

The heart follows
what the eyes behold.
Look at Jesus.

The world demands attention.
Fear demands attention.
Jesus deserves attention.

His beauty steadies.
His truth guides.
His grace sustains.

The longer I look,
the more I see
His glory.

The closer I walk,
the less attractive
other things become.

Lord Jesus,
hold my gaze.
Keep my eyes on You.

22. Trusting God’s Sovereignty

The world feels uncertain.
Events seem scattered.
God is not confused.

The throne is occupied.
The King is reigning.
Nothing escaped His notice.

What I cannot see,
He sees completely.
What I cannot hold, He holds.

History moves forward.
His purpose moves with it.
His hand is steady.

Questions remain.
God remains.
That is enough.

The Father knows.
The Son reigns.
The Spirit works.

Lord Jesus,
teach me to trust
the God who rules all things.

23. Learning Contentment

The heart always wants more.
More comfort.
More certainty.

Yet Christ stands near
and says,
“I am enough.”

Contentment is learned.
It does not arrive
all at once.

The soul grows quiet
when it stops demanding
what God has not given.

Gratitude opens the eyes.
Comparison blinds them.
Choose gratitude.

The richest person
is the one
who has Christ.

Lord Jesus,
teach me the joy
of enough.

24. Walking in Humility

Pride stands tall.
Grace flows low.
Choose the lower place.

The cross leaves
no room
for boasting.

Everything I have
came from God.
Everything.

Humility is truth.
It is seeing myself
rightly.

The humble heart
learns quickly.
The proud heart resists.

Jesus washed feet.
The King served.
The lesson remains.

Lord Jesus,
make me small
so You may be seen.

25. Living by Faith

Faith does not know everything.
Faith knows Someone.
That changes everything.

Abraham walked forward.
Moses walked forward.
They trusted God.

The future is hidden.
The Lord is not.
Walk on.

Faith hears God’s Word.
Faith believes God’s Word.
Faith obeys God’s Word.

Many doors remain closed.
God remains faithful.
Keep walking.

The path becomes clear
one step
at a time.

Lord Jesus,
help me trust You
when I cannot see.

26. Standing at the Cross

The cross stands
at the center
of everything.

There my sin was carried.
There my debt was paid.
There mercy triumphed.

The nails were real.
The suffering was real.
The love was real.

Jesus stayed.
He could have left.
He stayed.

The cross speaks
when shame accuses.
Grace answers.

Every day
I return there
in wonder.

Lord Jesus,
keep me near
the cross.

27. Living in Resurrection Power

The stone moved.
The grave opened.
Jesus lives.

Death spoke loudly.
Christ spoke louder.
Life prevailed.

The risen Lord
still carries scars.
Still carries victory.

Because He lives,
hope lives.
Because He lives, I endure.

No darkness lasts forever.
No grave wins forever.
Christ reigns forever.

The resurrection
changes every ending.
Nothing is hopeless.

Lord Jesus,
fill me with the hope
of Your risen life.

28. Enduring the Race

Some days are bright.
Some days are hard.
Keep running.

The race is long.
The Savior is near.
Keep running.

Weariness comes.
Discouragement comes.
Keep looking to Jesus.

Faithfulness matters
more than speed.
More than applause.

The finish line
belongs to those
who continue.

One day
the race will end.
The Lord will welcome.

Lord Jesus,
give me strength
to finish well.

29. Giving Thanks

The thankful heart
sees gifts
everywhere.

The unthankful heart
misses blessings
every day.

God has been kind.
God has been patient.
God has been faithful.

Thanksgiving changes
what I notice.
What I remember.

The cross alone
gives reason enough
for endless gratitude.

The thankful soul
becomes a strong soul.
A joyful soul.

Lord Jesus,
open my eyes
to Your goodness.

30. Looking Toward Heaven

This world is passing.
Its glory fades.
Its promises fade.

Jesus prepares
a place
for His people.

Heaven is not escape.
Heaven is home.
Home with Christ.

The heart grows stronger
when it remembers
where it is going.

Every tear ends there.
Every sorrow ends there.
Every struggle ends there.

One day
faith becomes sight.
The waiting ends.

Lord Jesus,
keep my heart
set on heaven.

31. Jesus My Strength

Strength is not a thing.
Strength is a Person.
His name is Jesus.

When I am weak,
He remains strong.
When I fall, He remains faithful.

He is my wisdom.
He is my righteousness.
He is my peace.

The Father sent Him.
The Spirit reveals Him.
The believer follows Him.

All roads
of grace and strength
lead here.

Not self.
Not effort.
Christ.

Lord Jesus,
be my strength today,
and every day until I see You. Amen.
