The Central Truth
Faith healing is special in Scripture because it reveals far more than what happens to a sick body. It reveals Jesus.
His healings tell us that He is compassionate, powerful, present, and Lord. They give us a glimpse of what His Kingdom will finally accomplish. They call us to trust Him, pray boldly, care for the suffering, and leave the outcome in His hands.
Faith is not the healer. Jesus is.
We do not try to develop enough faith to force a healing. We bring whatever faith we have to Jesus because He is the One who heals, sustains, strengthens, saves, raises the dead, and will one day make all things new.
