ONE STORY, ONE SAVIOR

31 Simple Poems

1. The Story Starts with God

Before there was anything,
God was there.
Jesus was there.

He made the heavens.
He made the earth.
He made us.

This Story is His.
My life is His.
My day is His.

I begin with Jesus.
I walk with Jesus.
I belong to Jesus.

2. Made for Him

God made me.
God knows me.
God gave me purpose.

I was not made
just to get more
and want more.

I was made
to know God
and walk with Him.

Jesus, take my life.
You made me
for Yourself.

3. What Went Wrong

God made it good.
We chose our way.
Sin entered.

We still choose ourselves.
We still wander.
We still hide.

I cannot fix
what sin has done
inside me.

I need Jesus.
Not improvement.
Rescue.

4. He Came Looking

Adam hid.
God called,
“Where are you?”

I have hidden too.
I have wandered.
I have run.

But Jesus came
to seek
and save the lost.

He came looking.
He found me.
He brought me home.

5. Someone Is Coming

Sin had entered.
Death had come.
But God spoke hope.

Someone would come.
Someone would fight.
Someone would win.

The promise began
and God never
forgot it.

That Someone
has a name.
Jesus.

6. God Keeps the Story Moving

The world grew dark.
Sin spread.
Judgment came.

But God remembered.
God preserved.
God continued.

People failed.
God did not.
His promise lived.

The Story kept moving
because God
was moving it.

7. The Promise to Abraham

God called one man
and made
a promise.

Through his family
the nations
would be blessed.

Abraham could not see
all God
was doing.

But God could.
The promise
was Jesus.

8. God Provides the Lamb

Isaac climbed
the mountain
with Abraham.

“Where is the lamb?”
was the question
that day.

God provided
a substitute
for Isaac.

Then one day
God provided
Jesus for me.

9. God Was Working

Joseph was hated.
Joseph was sold.
Joseph was forgotten.

But God
had not forgotten
Joseph.

What looked broken
was still inside
God’s purpose.

God was protecting
the family
that would bring Jesus.

10. God Comes Down to Rescue

Israel cried.
God heard.
God remembered.

They could not
free themselves
from slavery.

God came down
and brought
them out.

I could not free myself.
Jesus came
for me.

11. When I See the Blood

A lamb died.
Blood marked
the door.

Judgment came,
but God’s people
were spared.

Years later
another Lamb
gave His blood.

Jesus, my Lamb,
Your blood
rescued me.

12. God Wants to Be with Us

God told Israel,
“Build a place
for Me.”

He wanted
to dwell
among them.

Then Jesus came
and lived
among us.

God’s great desire:
His people
with Him.

13. The Law Shows Me

God’s Law is good.
God’s way
is right.

Then I look
at my life
and see my sin.

The Law shows me
what I cannot
do myself.

It points me
away from myself
toward Jesus.

14. One Sacrifice

Again and again
the sacrifices
were offered.

Again and again
blood was shed
for sin.

Then Jesus came
and offered
Himself.

One Savior.
One Cross.
Enough.

15. The King Is Coming

David had a throne.
But David
would die.

God promised
another King
would come.

His kingdom
would never
end.

Jesus is that King.
His throne
stands forever.

16. The Songs Were About Him

Israel sang
of suffering,
hope, and kings.

They sang
of a Son
and a Shepherd.

They did not see
everything
we now see.

The songs pointed
again and again
toward Jesus.

17. Someone Is Still Coming

The prophets warned.
The people
kept wandering.

Still God said,
“A Savior
is coming.”

A child.
A King.
A suffering Servant.

Promise after promise
kept pointing
to Jesus.

18. A New Covenant

The people knew
God’s commands
but still failed.

They needed
more than words
on stone.

God promised forgiveness.
God promised
changed hearts.

Jesus gave His blood
and made
the new covenant.

19. A New Heart

I do not need
only better habits
and stronger promises.

I need God
to change me
inside.

He promised
a new heart
and His Spirit.

Jesus gives me
what I cannot
give myself.

20. He Came

Abraham waited.
David waited.
The prophets waited.

Generation after generation
heard the promise:
He is coming.

Then Jesus
was born
in Bethlehem.

The waiting changed.
The promised One
had come.

21. The King Has Come

Jesus walked
into Galilee
and announced the kingdom.

The King
was standing
among His people.

He said,
“Repent.
Believe.”

Jesus is King.
Today I live
under His rule.

22. The Lamb of God

John saw Jesus
and knew
what God was doing.

The Lamb
had finally
come.

Not another animal.
Not another
temporary sacrifice.

Jesus came
to take away
our sin.

23. God Came Near

The tabernacle pointed.
The temple
pointed.

Then God
came to us
in Jesus.

Not far away.
Not unreachable.
Near.

When I look
at Jesus,
I see God with us.

24. He Took My Sin

My sin
was mine.
My guilt was mine.

Jesus took
what belonged
to me.

He bore
my sin
on the Cross.

Jesus died
so I could
come home.

25. The Grave Lost

Jesus died.
They buried Him.
The stone was closed.

Then Sunday came.
Jesus rose.
Death lost.

The grave
does not get
the final word.

Jesus is alive.
Because He lives,
I will live.

26. Jesus Builds His Church

Jesus rose.
Jesus reigns.
Jesus still works.

He gathers
ordinary people
to Himself.

He sends us
to love, serve,
and tell.

The church is His.
Jesus is still
building it.

27. His Spirit in Me

Jesus did not say,
“Try harder
by yourself.”

He gave us
the Holy Spirit
to live within us.

Strength to obey.
Power to witness.
Help for today.

Jesus is not distant.
His Spirit
lives in me.

28. For Every Nation

God told Abraham,
“The nations
will be blessed.”

Jesus came.
The Gospel
went out.

Different languages.
Different people.
One Savior.

The world needs
the same name:
Jesus.

29. God Does Not Forget

God promised Abraham.
God promised David.
God promised Israel.

Years passed.
People failed.
God remained faithful.

Then Jesus came.
Promise after promise
stood fulfilled.

God does not forget.
Jesus proves
He keeps His Word.

30. He Is Coming Again

Jesus came once.
Jesus died.
Jesus rose.

Jesus ascended,
but the Story
is not finished.

The King
is coming
again.

So I work.
I wait.
I watch for Jesus.

31. Everything New

Genesis began
with God
and His people.

Sin brought separation,
tears, pain,
and death.

Revelation ends
with God
dwelling with us.

Jesus makes all things new.
Jesus brings us home.
Jesus finishes the Story.

God creates, man falls, God promises, God pursues, God provides, Jesus comes, Jesus saves, Jesus rises, Jesus reigns, and Jesus is coming again. One Story. One Savior. Jesus.
